I'm delighted to be taking part in a fabulous exhibition at Truro High School for Girls, 11th - 19th Nov. I'm showing my work with 19 other artists based in Cornwall. I helped to get this exhibition up and running and establishing positive links with the school, which was a fantastic experience, and along with a great PV night, all in all, a really wonderful inaugural exhibition event for the Prime Group, which will continue to go from strength to strength.
30th Sept 2023. This was a wonderful Art Exhibition to be part of, low key but high impact! In true style of keeping it simple - using the church pews to display works over two days - 47 paintings sold of which I'm very pleased that 3 were mine!
10th September 2023. I tutored another lovely art session painting scenes from Holywell Bay and other Cornish Coastline views. Wonderful group of participants - keen to learn and to get stuck in, creating their very own masterpiece!
25th August 2023. Four budding artists had a great time at Malpas last night, three of them painting for the first time since school days - amazing outcomes, experimenting with different techniques and with a bold use of colour. Everyone was delighted with their paintings and a good time was had by all.
17th August 2023. Delighted to have some of my paintings on show at my local art club exhibition, it's on now until 27th August 2023. Perranporth Art Club, St Michaels Church Hall, Perranporth.
11th August 2023, I delivered another lovely painting session at Trevibban Mill Vineyard for Art and Wine Cornwall, with a wonderful group of enthusiastic painters. From initial intrepidation to fabulous outcomes! Everyone left with a painting to be proud of and a sense of great accomplishment... and just look at that view!
4th August 2023. It was great to be at the PV Evening last night with some wonderful people, fizz, nibbles and 6 paintings on show! A fabulous range of art works are included in this exhibition, running at St Agnes Church Hall until the 16th August. I'll be there on the 12th August in the afternoon - be lovely to see you there!
4th August 2023. I had a lovely day at the Lobster Hatchery in Padstow with some great kids and adults, helping them create wonderful paintings, for Art & Wine Cornwall. Lovely selection of work and great to be reminded how children approach their art, brave, confident and decisive! Here's a pic of two lovely ladies who also joined in. Do visit if you get a chance it's an amazing place.
3rd August 2023. Super excited for this event. 6 paintings delivered this morning and tonight I will see them on display. Can't wait! Will be posting pictures here!
1st August 2023. Where does the time go? Summer is flying by and there's so much to do... holidays, visitors, entertaining, then there's the art work.... ummm where is the artwork? I've spent so much time recently preparing for this website, preparing for exhibitions, cataloguing all my work to date, there really has been little time for painting!
11th June 2023. I delivered a fabulous painting session with Art & Wine Cornwall in the beautiful location of Malpas Village Hall. Sunsets were the order of the day and most of these students haven't painted since their school days, lovely experience introducing them to the possibilities in art and their own unique potential. Proud tutor moment!
1st June 2023, Stepping aside from my career has allowed me the privilege of time to focus just on my art, how could I not! - living on the coast in such a beautiful area provides immense inspiration and these influences all around me seep into my work. My office is now transformed into my art studio, out with the PC's and monitors and in with easels and paint!
